The Halo tumbler is handblown in Kenya using glass from the offcuts of window panes. Each glass is made by a skilled glassmith locally trained in the art of glassblowing. The 'Halo' glass gets its name from its coloured rim. At Mikoko, we think that the cobalt blue rim reminds us of the Cornish coastline.
Each glass is handmade and may vary in shape, size and colour. At Mikoko, we believe that these features/quirks are part of what makes these glasses beautiful.
